The 7th Cross-Strait Youth Creative Pastoral IP Design Workshop opened at HFU on June 23rd. Wu Pingchuan, Chair of the University Council and Chen Xiu, HFU Vice President, attended the opening ceremony.

At the ceremony, Chen Fangru, a faculty representative from Taiwan Yunlin University of Science and Technology, and Sang Baojun, a HFU alumnus, delivered speeches respectively, affirming the significance of the event as well as their hope for its complete success.

Wu Pingchuan stressed the cultural connotations of the theme “Pastoral” for this year’s workshop, which was an important platform for college students from both sides of the strait to showcase their talents, enhance communication, and deepen friendships. He encouraged the attendees to seize the opportunity to learn from each other, make progress together, and create outstanding works.

Co-organized by Hefei University, Taiwan Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taipei University of Technology, and Shih Chien University, the workshop will last 5days, focusing on the development of Hefei regional cultural and creative industries for further cross-strait exchanges and cooperation.
